Established in 2001, St. Mary’s English Medium School, Laila-Belthangady, is managed by the Missionary Sisters of Mary Immaculate under the guidance of St. Mary’s Education Society.
Our congregation was founded by Reverend Father C.J. Varkey in 1962 at Kulathuvayal, Kerala. We are a religious Congregation for women of Pontifical right, that is called to announce the good news of salvation to all, by proclaiming liberty to captives, sight to the blind, freedom to the oppressed and to proclaim the year acceptable to the Lord (Lk 4:18)
