Taluk-Level Indoor Shuttle Badminton Tournament Held at Madanthyar
On August 5, 2025, in collaboration with St. Mary’s English Medium School, a taluk-level indoor shuttle badminton tournament was held for primary and high school boys and girls at Sacred Heart English Medium School, Madanthyar.
The event began with a prayer by the students. Mrs. Sujaya B., the Physical Education Supervisor, inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. The event was presided over by Sister Preeti George, the Headmistress of our school.

In the tournament:

Primary School Boys’ Division: Sacred Heart English Medium School secured the first place, while St. Mary’s English Medium School, Laila, took second place.

Primary School Girls’ Division: Navachetana English Medium School, Karimane, won first place, and SDM English Medium School, Dharmasthala, secured second place.

High School Boys’ Division: Sacred Heart English Medium School, Madanthyar, claimed first place, while Anugraha English Medium School, Ujire, came second.

High School Girls’ Division: SDM English Medium School, Dharmasthala, won first place, and Navachetana English Medium School, Karimane, took second place.
The stage program was compered by Mr. Ramachandra Dodmani. Mr. Ajith Kumar Kokradi, Physical Education Teacher from Government High School, Gerukatte, welcomed the guests. The vote of thanks was delivered by Mrs. Mamatha, our school’s Assistant Teacher.
